Remote Vehicle Control System


Goal:

Create a solution for remotely controlling a personal vehicle using telematics, cloud backend, and a simple mobile-friendly interface.

Project Overview:

I designed and implemented a personal vehicle control system from scratch.

  • Installed Teltonika FMB telematics hardware in my car to enable remote data transmission and control

  • Integrated the device with a cloud-based fleet management backend, ensuring reliable two-way communication https://www.ct.ms/

  • Developed a Telegram bot UI using Python that allows me to remotely lock/unlock the vehicle, check location, receive status updates, and send commands in real-time

  • Built and tested custom scenarios such as geofencing alerts and battery level monitoring

Result:

A fully functional remote control system for my vehicle, accessible securely via Telegram from any device. The project demonstrates practical application of IoT, backend integration, and user-friendly automation.
